REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22, 2001 <br />Councilmember Kelly reported that the Community and Economic Development Committee met <br />on this bill and recommends this Resolution to the Council favorably. <br />Ms. Jill Sechowski, 17874 State Road #23, South Bend, Indiana, made the presentation for this bill <br />representing Mr. Mike Urbanski of G &M Properties. <br />Ms. Sechowski stated that they would appreciate the Council's support for this tax abatement as they <br />have received in the past. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to this <br />Resolution, Councilmember Kelly made a motion to adopt this Resolution. Councilmember <br />Coleman seconded the motion which carried and the Resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of <br />nine (9) ayes. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3045 -01 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN <br />AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 110 SOUTH HILL <br />STREET AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR <br />PURPOSES OF A TEN (10) YEAR REAL PROPERTY <br />TAX ABATEMENT FOR J & J LEASING, LLC <br />( U N D E R W R I T E R S <br />LABORATORIES /ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />LABORATORIES) <br />WHEREAS, a petition for real property tax abatement has been filed with the City Clerk for <br />consideration by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana requesting that the area <br />commonly known as 110 South Hill Street, South Bend, Indiana, and which is more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 37 North, <br />Range 2 East, Portage Township, City of South Bend, St. Joseph <br />County, Indiana which is described as: Lots 171 and 172 of the Plat <br />of "Samuel L. Wide North and South <br />alley located between said lots described above. Containing 1.14 <br />Acres more or less.
