Councilmember Coleman made a motion to refer this bill to the Area <br />Plan Commission and be set for Second Reading, Public Hearing and Third Reading on July 28, <br />2003. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />BILL NO. 48 -03 FIRST READING ON A BILL AMENDING THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1804 & <br />2014 WEST WASHINGTON AVENUE, 1610, 1628, 1636 <br />& 1721 CIRCLE AVENUE AND 218 SOUTH GRANT <br />STREET ALL IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />This bill had first reading. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of <br />nine (9) ayes. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />REOUEST TO WITHDRAW - BILL NO. 37 -03 - REZONING - 133 SOUTH SCOTT <br />STREET <br />At the request of the Petitioner, Councilmember Coleman made a motion to strike this bill <br />from consideration. Councilmember Kuspa seconded the motion which carried by a voice <br />vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO COUNCILMEMBER PFEIFER <br />Councilmember Varner advised that as one of the two members of the class of 1995 he <br />would like to wish Happy Birthday to the other member of the class of 1995 on this the 17th <br />anniversary of her 39th birthday. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF SWEARING IN CEREMONY OF YOUTH ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE <br />Council President White announced that the swearing in of the Youth Advisory Council <br />members will be held on Monday, June 23, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. during the regular Council <br />meeting. She also advised that a special reception will be held in the Council Caucus Room <br />- 1- 1 f -- - -- <br />
