<br /> Ms. Charlotte Sobel, Director of Real Estate Planning and Development, South Bend
<br /> Heritage Foundation, 803 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana made the presentation
<br /> for this bill.
<br /> Ms. Sobel indicated that South Bend Heritage along with Habitat for Humanity propose
<br /> to construct two (2) single family homes. The homes will be approximately 1,000 to
<br /> 1,200 square foot, one or two story homes. The homes will have three bedrooms, one
<br /> bathroom, and one car garage. Ms. Sobel stated that due to limited construction funding,
<br /> the homes will be built on crawlspaces. The estimated value of the homes will be
<br /> between$70,000 and$80,000 each.
<br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time.
<br /> There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in
<br /> opposition to this Resolution, Councilmember Coleman made a motion to adopt this
<br /> Resolution. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion which carried and the Resolution
<br /> was adopted by a roll call vote of nine (9) ayes.
