REGULAR MEETING April 10, 2023 <br /> 14-23 THIRD READING ON AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON <br /> COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> AMENDING CHAPTER 6, BY ADDING ARTICLE 15, SECTIONS 6-94 <br /> THROUGH 6-108 INCLUSIVE TO REQUIRE LANDLORDS AND <br /> TENANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN BED BUG REMEDIATION <br /> This bill was tabled to committee to April 24th, 2023. <br /> RESOLUTIONS <br /> BILL NO. <br /> 23-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> THE SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,ADOPTING A WRITTEN FISCAL <br /> PLAN AND ESTABLISHING A POLICY FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> SERVICES TO AN ANNEXATION AREA IN GERMAN TOWNSHIP <br /> (RESURRECTION LUTHERAN ANNEXATION AREA) <br /> Councilmember Lori Hamann stated that this resolution came before the board of Zoning and <br /> Annexation with a favorable recommendation. <br /> Michael Divita, Principal Planner with the City of South Bend, with offices located on the 14th <br /> floor of the County City Building. This is the fiscal plan for the one point two (1.2)-acre <br /> annexation requested by the property owner of two (2)parcels at the Southeast corner of Nimtz <br /> Parkway and Olive Rd. This will give way to expanding the parking lot and landscaping for the <br /> Resurrection Lutheran Academy area where water and sewer are available along Nimtz Parkway <br /> and Olive Road. Resurrection Lutheran Academy area would become a part of the common <br /> council's First(1st) district. <br /> Council President Sharon McBride opened the floor to Councilmembers for any questions or <br /> comments. <br /> Council President Sharon McBride opened the floor to the public for any questions or comments. <br /> Clerk Jones stated that no one from the public wished to speak. <br /> Councilmember Lori Hamann made a motion for passage.
