Work included: To enable orderly review during progress of the Work, and to provide <br />for systematic discussion of problems, the Contractor, in conjunction with the Engineer, <br />will conduct project meetings when required for coordination or to review work progress. <br /> The Contractor shall be responsible to schedule meetings. <br /> <br />B. Related Work: <br /> <br />1. The Contractor's relations with his subcontractors and materials suppliers, and <br />discussions relative thereto, are the Contractor's responsibility and normally are <br />not part of project meetings content. <br /> <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Minutes: <br /> <br />1. Meeting minutes will be prepared by the Owner's Representative. The <br />Contractor shall review and respond immediately, in writing, to any <br />discrepancies or errors in the meeting minutes. If a response is not received by <br />the Owner's Representative within five (5) days after issuance of minutes the <br />minutes will be assumed to be accurate as written. <br /> <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />A. For those persons designated by the Contractor to attend and participate in project <br />meetings, provide required authority to commit the Contractor to solutions agreed upon <br />in the project meetings. <br /> <br />1.4 PRECONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE <br /> <br />A. Schedule a preconstruction conference before starting construction, at a time convenient <br />to Owner and Engineer. Hold the conference at Project site or another convenient <br />location. Conduct the meeting to review responsibilities and personnel assignments. <br /> <br />B. Agenda: Discuss items of significance that could affect progress, including the <br />following: <br />1. Tentative construction schedule. <br />2. Critical work sequencing. <br />3. Designation of responsible personnel, phone lists, contacts. <br />4. Submittal procedures. <br />5. Preparation of Record Documents.
