The condition of the site, buildings and surroundings shall be accepted as found. Responsibility for <br />conditions are solely the responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> <br />B. Prior to the various work items, the Contractor shall hold a meeting to work out proper locations <br />and pathways, to avoid conflicts and maintain clearances. Include all interested and affected <br />parties, and the Owner/Engineer Representatives. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 not used. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 PROTECTION OF LIFE AND PROPERTY <br /> <br />A. Maintain safe and orderly job conditions. Protect any areas to remain. Maintain required exits. <br />Provide fire extinguishers in the work area. Provide lighting and signage as required. <br /> <br />B. Work practices and job conditions shall meet all State, Federal and Local requirements to protect <br />life and property. <br /> <br />3.1 COORDINATION AND PROCEDURES <br /> <br />A. Verify work to be performed before proceeding. Work to remain shall be protected and if damaged <br />shall be restored to like new condition. Coordinate demolition with other trades as required. Items <br />indicated for demolition shall be completely removed, hauled off-site and disposed of properly at <br />no additional cost to the Owner. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION 01040
