4248 BROADWAY ST INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46205 317-797-2170 <br />www.kennedycg.com <br />Liberty Tower TIF Project -Parking Garage <br />ADDENDUM #1 <br />September 19, 2023 <br />The following changes, additions, and/or deletions shall be made to the Bid Documents for Liberty <br />Tower TIF Project - Parking Garage, dated August 15, 2023. The information contained herein shall take <br />precedence over the original documents and any previous addenda, and is appended thereto, such that <br />this Addendum modifies and becomes a part of the Contract Documents. This Addendum will not <br />affect the bid due date. <br />Item #1: Special Provisions Section XIII., Prosecutions and Progress, Paragraph B.1.: Delete the first <br />sentence of this paragraph and replace with the following: “The contract time for completion <br />of this project shall be 270 calendar days.” <br />Item #2: Drawing G-1, General Note #5: Clarification: Fees related to local City of South Bend permit <br />will be waived for this project. <br />Item #3: Drawing G-1, General Note #9: Delete the second sentence and replace it with “The <br />Contractor will be allowed to close parking for working area the equivalent of Two Full Levels <br />(Approximately 108 Parking Stalls) at any one time. <br />Item #4: Materials purchased and used on this project are exempt from Sales Tax. <br />Item #5: The owner will grant the Contractor use of an existing lockable storage room in the garage for <br />small tools/equipment/material storage. <br />Item #6: Safe removal and resetting of light fixtures, electrical conduit, etc. required to facilitate the <br />concrete repairs will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The cost of this effort will be <br />reimbursed on a T&M basis out of the Owner’s Contingency line item in the bid, based on <br />approved rates and contemporaneous time sheets submitted to the Owner or Owner’s <br />representative. <br />END
