The <br />solicitation was sent to a list of seven vendors that had qualifications for the type of work needed, <br />and the solicitation was inclusive of M/WBE vendors. The quote from Asphalt Restoration Services <br />was non-responsive as it did not quote each line item. The quote from Day’s Construction was also <br />non-responsive as it did not quote each line item. Rieth-Riley and Milestone Contractors provided <br />responsive quotes. Each quote amount is as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Total Quote Amount <br />1. Rieth-Riley $96,821.00 <br />2. Milestone Contractors $174,803.30 <br />3. Asphalt Restoration Services* $7,046.69 <br />4. Day’s Construction* $47,000 <br /> <br />*Indicates non-responsive <br /> <br />All required quote documentation, inclusive of the signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, was provided <br />by the Rieth-Riley and Milestone quotes. <br /> <br />Engineering recommends the quote be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible <br />quoter, Rieth-Riley, in the amount of $96,821.00. <br /> <br />The Fire Department has appropriated sufficient funds from the their Building Improvements funds <br />(PR-00024234). <br /> <br />Please respond with any questions. <br />
