Civic Innovation <br />Accomplishments <br />•Awarded What Works Cities Silver Certification for excellence in data-driven governance, innovation, and performance management for second year in a row <br />•Launched the Digital Storefront Grant Program in partnership with DCI <br />•Funded and launched an adult education coding program in partnership with South Bend Code School <br />•Planned and launched the "Winter of Learning,"and the Tech Mentorship Program out of the TRC <br />•Launched Citywide Classroom in partnership with the SBCSC and enFocus <br />•Started the South Bend Community Connectivity Coalition, knitting together stakeholders across the City, Schools, Choicelight, Library, Notre Dame SpectrumX, <br />•Joined the Mastercard City Possible Network and began cross-city piloting on economic activity data and tax forecasting models. <br />•Continued to shepherd the Commuters Trust Program which hit 10,000 rides in South Bend and launched the Community Nonprofit Partnership Program
