■ <br /> COMM f tttt *.tport: <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> to tbt Common Council of tbt City of •outb 140: <br /> The June 9, 1997 meeting of the Personnel and Finance Committee was called to order by <br /> its Chairperson, Council Member Sean Coleman at 4:50 p.m. in the Council informal <br /> meeting room. <br /> Persons in attendance included Council Members: Aranowski, Pfeifer, Broden, Varner, <br /> Ujdak, Coleman, Hosinski, Sniadecki; Ann Carol-Simons, Don Fozo, Terry Bland, and <br /> Kathleen Cekanski-Farrand. <br /> Council Member Coleman noted that the only item on the agenda was to review Bill No.46- <br /> 97 which would deleted various sections of the South Bend Municipal Code. <br /> Ann Carol-Simons made the presentation. She made reference to the memorandum on <br /> codification dated June 5, 1997 (copy attached). She noted that the city clerk and staff as <br /> well as the council attorney and members of the legal department are on a special committee <br /> to assist in the preliminary background information which must be done prior to the <br /> codification of the entire South Bend Municipal Code. <br /> Following further discussion, Council Member Varner made a motion, seconded by <br /> Council Member Aranowski, that Bill No. 46-97 be recommended favorably to Council. <br /> The motion passed. <br /> There being no further business to come before the committee the meeting was adjourned at <br /> 4:50 p.m.. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Council Member Sean Coleman,Chairperson <br /> Personnel and Finance Committee <br /> Attachments <br /> • <br />
