Sample Street, Suite 1125, South Bend, Indiana, made the presentation for <br />this bill. <br /> <br />Ms. Tran advised that Triangle Machine Inc. manufactures machined components for a wide <br />variety of industries such as aerospace, automotive, and orthopedic. She stated that they intend <br />to replace a sixteen year old machine with new CNC OKUMA LATHE. The new machine will <br />cost $87,250. She stated that total taxes abated for the five (5) year abatement period are <br />estimated at $861.00. Taxes paid for five years would be $39,254.00. She stated that it is <br />estimated that the project will retain two (2) permanent full-time positions with an annual payroll <br />of $100,00. The project will not create any new positions. <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br /> <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to <br />this Resolution, Councilmember White made a motion to adopt this Resolution.
