Committee Report <br /> Community and Economic Development <br /> August 14, 1995 <br /> Page 2 <br /> He stated that the State Board of Tax Commissioners found that there were <br /> procedural deficiencies with regard to the installation of the equipment involving a five day <br /> period. <br /> He stated that in light of the new state law which took effect on July 1 that <br /> procedural deficiencies could be corrected by the Common Council through a reconfirming <br /> Resolution and requested approval of the same. <br /> The Council Attorney noted that she has had ongoing discussions with John Ford <br /> of the same law firm on this matter. She confirmed the procedure permitted by the new <br /> state law. <br /> Council Member Luecke state that in 1992 he was very enthusiastic about this <br /> company. He stated that he is enthusiastic today because it continues to divert much <br /> construction material from landfills and believes it is a needed business in the area. <br /> Following discussion,Council Member Washington, seconded by Council Member <br /> Zakrzewski that Resolution No. 95-67 be recommended favorably to Council.
