Jefferson Blvd. South Bend 46601 <br />Contact: Council President Sharon McBride, smcbride@southbendin.gov <br /> <br /> <br />Thursday morning South Bend Common Council President Sharon McBride along with fellow <br />Council Members Sheila Niezgodski, Karen White, Rachel Tomas-Morgan, Troy Warner and <br />Canneth Lee will present a process plan for selection of a new Director of the Community Police <br />Review Board. <br />Additionally, the Council Members will also present and discuss a second separate process <br />detailing the selection and appointment of the Review Board membership. <br />The six Council Members filed a Resolution detailing both the processes Wednesday <br />[http://docs.southbendin.gov/weblink/0/doc/351518/Page1.aspx] The Resolution will have a public <br />hearing and possible vote by the full Council at the Council’s Monday March 14th meeting. <br />“It is time for Council and the Mayor to fulfill its commitment to the citizens and create a <br />transparent process as we select and appoint those that will take on the duties of the Community <br />Police Review Board,” Council President Sharon McBride. <br /> <br />### <br />
