Zoning and Vacation Committee
November 9, 1993
Page 4
Mr. Byorni of the Area Plan staff noted that the rezoning
request does not involve the current operation and showed
location on the preliminary site plan.
Following further discussion Council Member Coleman made a
motion seconded by Council Member Puzzello that Substitute
Bill No. 80-93 be recommended favorably to Council. The
motion passed.
Council Member Luecke then brought up for Council discussion
the letter he received dated November 2, 1993 from Richard
Johnson, Executive Director of the Area Plan staff. (copy
attached) He noted that Bill No. 90-93 had not been properly
introduced pursuant to current state law. Mr. Byorni noted
that the area planned staff is not in favor of the proposed
Bill at this time. Following discussion, it was recommended
that the Council attorney send a letter to Mr. John Oxion to
allow him five minutes at the next Zoning and Vacation
Committee to give preliminary background information on why
the Bill is necessary.
The meeting was then adjourned at 4 :55 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Council Member Lee Slavinskas
Chairperson, Zoning and Vacation Committee
attachments
