uS The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Papczynski absent. Bond of C. L. Headley filed and approved and,Contract signed for the Blaine Avenue Grade, Curb & Walk Improvement. Petition filed by E. Ho)':fman et al for an electric light at the corner of Stull /and Lafayette streets. The following contracts were awarded. Notre Dame street Pipe Sewer Ford street Pipe Sewer Miami street Pipe Sewer College Street & Linden avenuePipe Sewer Staples & Ackerman L. H. Webster Hoban & Roach L. Hp Iffebster Hearing on Assessment Rolls and final estimates for Grade, Curb & Walk on Fisher street and Kosciuszko street, under Imp Resolutions Nos. 260 & 261, deferred until Saturday September 22, 19069 at 10 A. M. Engineer filed Assessment Rolls and Final estimates as follows: Pipe Seweron Ohio street from High street to Carroll street; Pipe Sewer on Broadway from Main street to SO ft west of Michigan mtreet; ;Cement walk:�on Lafayette street from Valvert street to Ewing avenue, Walk & Curb on Cottage Grove avenue from Michigan avenue to Portage avenue, Grade, Curb & Walt on Marine street from Indiana avenue to�Calvert street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Golden avenue from Portage avenue to Leland avenue, Brick Pavement on Columbia street from Wayne street to south end of street, Water Connections on Michigan avenue from Wilber street to Alley west of Johnson street, All under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 312, 349, 3592 3552 3542 319, 339 & 393 respectively. Resolved; that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 22nd, day of September, 1906, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 2nd day of October, 1906, at-7:15 PM Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this revolution shall be published on the 22nd, day of September 1906, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 2nd day of October , 19062 at 7:15 P. M. Hearing given on Vacation Resolution No. 43, vacating the following described property, to —wit: The Alley twelve (12) feet in width, that runs North Rrom Tutt street to Robertson street, between lots Nos. Four and five (4 & 5) on the plat of Elliott Tutt addition to the city of South Bend. That portion of Robertson street lying North of the above alley and North of Lots Five and Six (5 & 6 ) in Elliott Tutt's addition to the City of South Bend. In the above'matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore declare the above described property in all things vacated.
