The Council <br /> Attorney further noted that in light of the reference to Indiana Code § 36-46-14(b) (2) in Section <br /> III of the ordinance which she originally drafted, the final version of the ordinance, if passed this <br /> evening would be posted in eighteen (18) public places throughout the City. She noted that she <br /> met with Mr. Leone and Ms. DeRose and that the Legal Department would be certifying the <br /> specific locations, with each of the six(6) Councilmanic Districts having three (3) public locations. <br /> In this way, as much notice as possible would be given, as permitted by state law. Public libraries <br /> and neighborhood centers would be among the locations. <br /> It was also noted that a warning would be given initially, with a citation and impoundment being <br /> available if necessary. <br /> Ms. Brucker noted that Code Enforcement would have an animal control officer at Summer in the <br /> City, in response to a question from Council Member Kirsits. <br /> Following discussion, Council Member Kirsits made a motion, seconded by Citizen Member <br /> Isabel Gonzalez that Substitute Bill No. 41-03 be recommended favorably to Council.
