REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22, 2012 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BILL NO. 50-12 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> AND REQUESTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION FOR <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2222 WEST WASHINGTON, <br /> COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT 2 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA <br /> <br />BILL NO. 51-12 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> AND REQUESTING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION FOR <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1243 & 1247 CAMPEAU, SOUTH <br /> BEND, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT 4 IN THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br /> <br />Councilmember Oliver Davis made a motion to refer Bill Nos. 48-12; 50-12 and 51-12 to the <br />Zoning and Annexation Committee and set them for Public Hearing and Third Reading on <br />November 12, 2012. Councilmember White seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote <br />of nine (9) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Councilmember Henry Davis, Jr., announced that the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />th <br />will be meeting Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers, 4 Floor <br />County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana to discuss the Fellow Street <br />Project. He encouraged all to attend. <br /> <br /> <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br /> <br />Jesse Davis, P.O. Box 10205 South Bend, Indiana, asked why there are so many interim city <br />employees. He also asked what percentage of franchise fees from Comcast go to public access? <br /> <br />Sam Brown, 222 E. Navarre, South Bend, Indiana, questioned where he needed to get a lawyer. <br />He stated that some people have been sending threats to the red shirts. <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, President Derek D.
