Dieter )�1 ,) ntact: 532-2200 <br /> South Bend Common Council to Hold Organizational Meeting <br /> The South Bend Common Council will meet next Monday, January 7, 2013, at 5 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers on the 4`h Floor of the County-City Building. <br /> This Council meeting is being held pursuant to South Bend Municipal Code § 2-3 which requires <br /> the Council's Organizational Meeting to be held on the first Monday of January. <br /> The purpose of the meeting is to elect the 2013 City Council Officers for the positions of Council <br /> President, Council Vice-President, and Committee of the Whole Chairperson. Additionally, the <br /> Council will select its Council Attorney. <br /> The meeting is open to the public, with all those in attendance having ample time after the close <br /> of the Council meeting to cheer on the Fighting Irish in the BCS National Championship Bowl <br /> later that evening.
