Councilmember White made a motion to refer this bill to the Area <br />Plan Commission. Councilmember Gavin Ferlic seconded the motion which carried by a voice <br />vote of eight (8) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />BILL NO. 74-11 AMEND CHAPTER 21- TO ALLOW CHICKENS – <br />TH <br /> (CONTINUE UNTIL THE DECEMBER 10 MEETING) <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott made a motion to continue this bill until the December 10, 2012 meeting <br />of the Council. Councilmember Henry Davis, Jr., seconded the motion which carried by a voice <br />vote of eight (8) ayes. <br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Henry Davis, Jr., advised that companies that use tax abatements need to better communicate <br />their jobs openings. He suggested the use of a job board. <br /> <br />Oliver Davis advised that the Council Rules Committee will meet regarding redistricting in the <br />City of South Bend. He stated that notices will go out via e-mail. <br /> <br /> <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br /> <br />Samuel Brown, 222 E.
