The Council Attorney noted that in further reviewing Bill No. 16-05 that the title of the Bill
calls for an appropriation of$23,380, while the body of the ordinance calls for an amount of
$23,280.
Battalion Chief Metzger stated that he has substitute Bills for both Bill No. 16-05 and Bill No.
17-05 and then presented them to the Council Attorney. He noted that the proper amount for
Bill No. 16-05 is$23,280 and for Bill No. 17-05 the proper amount is$22,253.30.
In response to a question from Council Member White, the Council Attorney noted that the Bills
were properly advertised and since the larger amount was advertised that the Council could take
final action this evening on the Bills. She added that it was the call of the Chairperson whether
another motion was needed, since the Committee uses more relaxed rules of procedure.
Council Member White stated that the two (2) Bills as substituted will be favorably
recommended to the Council.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, Council Member White
adjourned the Committee meeting at 5:00 p.m.
Rest ctfully stted ,
Council Member Karen L.
