TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />Product Description <br />All <br />The cost of any repairs, replacements or adjustments <br />to a covered product due to the following: (1) damage to <br />the product or its component parts caused by incorrect use, <br />installation, maintenance or repair, including without <br />limitation (a) improper fit of mating components or <br />brackets, (b) damaged threads, (c) cut, broken, chafed, <br />pinched or otherwise damaged wiring (sensors, harnesses <br />and connectors), (d) damaged sensors from removal when <br />seized in block, or associated with sensor adjustments/ <br />alignments, and (e) damage resulting from the use or <br />installation of non -genuine Meritor WABCO components or <br />materials; (2) damage to the product, its component parts, <br />or diminished product or component part performance due <br />to incorrect operation, deviation from approved conditions <br />or misapplication; (3) any unauthorized disassembly of the <br />product or its component parts including without limitation <br />(a) obliterated, defaced or missing WABCO or Meritor <br />WABCO name plate, serial numbers or label identifying the <br />device as a Meritor WABCO product or WABCO component, <br />(b) changes to sealed adjusting screws, and (c) opening or <br />attempted repair of non -serviceable components; <br />(4) malfunction of the component due to internal <br />contamination out of the vehicle system including without <br />limitation (a) water and other contamination damage that <br />is due to the use of a non -genuine air dryer cartridge or <br />(b) valve failures due to contamination in air system, (5) <br />complaints associated with noise, (6) damage resulting <br />from corrosion (including oxidation of electrical devices <br />and connections). <br />Air Dryers <br />Mounting brackets (see vehicle OEM). Desiccant <br />cartridge housing only. <br />Air System Components <br />Normal wear items; Gladhand seals, dash valve knobs, valve <br />actuation handles, treadles, pedals. <br />ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESQ, Roll Stability <br />Control (RSQ, OptiRide'"' OnGuard'"° and OnLane'"°, <br />collectively "Electronics" <br />Failure of electronic components due to overvoltage <br />condition, improper grounding, electrostatic discharge <br />(ESD), improper shielding, electromagnetic interference <br />(EMI), or other wiring or installation issues. <br />Malfunctions and failure codes caused by other electronic <br />subsystem failures (data bus, engine, transmission, <br />dashboard, etc.) <br />Hydraulic Components <br />For certain components, brake fluid DOT3 or DOT4 is used <br />as the operating medium. Use of any other fluid will void <br />all warranties associated with that component. For <br />hydraulic braking applications the brake fluid is considered <br />a maintenance item. Maintenance intervals are listed <br />in TB-1367. <br />Coverage L„IIIIIrnIIItadc)Iins <br />Product Description <br />All <br />Any claim beyond 60 days from date of repair will not be <br />accepted or honored under this warranty program. <br />Products purchased on an incomplete vehicle (glider) are <br />limited to one year, 1/Unl/P. <br />For vehicles that operate full- or part-time outside of the <br />United States and Canada, a 1-Year/Unlimited Miles parts <br />only (1/Unl/P) will apply. <br />TOOLBOX'" Software <br />Proper diagnostics of Meritor WABCO Electronics may <br />require the latest version of TOOLBOX'"". Additional labor <br />due to use of an outdated version of TOOLBOX'M. TOOLBOX"" <br />software, and/or the time to purchase or install latest version <br />of TOOLBOX"" are not covered under product warranty. <br />
