SPEEDLAYS WITH TRAY <br />At the front of the body will be two (2) 1.75" speedlay hose beds. Each bed will have a 2.00" <br />preconnect line with a 2.00" quarter -turn ball valve and terminate with a 1.50" National Standard hose <br />thread 90 degree swivel. The swivel will be located at the top of the speedlay compartment to allow <br />easy removal of the hose. <br />Individual controls for the speedlays will be at the pump operator's panel. <br />Each compartment will be capable of carrying 200 feet of 1.75" double jacketed hose with the one (1) <br />compartment located above the other. <br />A removable tray will be provided for each speedlay hosebed. The speedlay trays will be constructed <br />of black poly to provide a lightweight sturdy tray. Two (2) hand holes will be in the floor and additionpi <br />hand holes-w ll be -provided -in the sides for easy removal and installation from the compartment. The <br />floor of the trays will be perforated to allow for drainage and hose drying. The bottom of the speedlay <br />compartments will be lined with stainless steel to allow the tray to slide with ease. Scuffplates will be <br />provided on both sides at the sides and bottom of each opening to protect the paint. <br />A compartment will be provided below the speedlays, each side, with a hinged door. <br />SPEEDLAY HOSE RESTRAINT <br />A 2.00" black nylon webbing design restraint will be provided across the ends of speedlay(s) to secure <br />the hose during travel. The webbing assembly is to be attached at the bottom of the speedlay(s) with <br />footman loops as a permanent attachment and is attached at the top with lift -a -dot fastener(s). <br />90 DEGREE SWIVEL ELBOW <br />There will be two (2) 90 degree swivel elbow supplied with 1.50" MNPSH threads located top of the <br />speedlay to allow easy removal of hose. <br />FOAM SYSTEM <br />A foam system will not be required on this apparatus. <br />PUMP COMPARTMENT <br />The pump compartment will be located at the rear of the body, between the compartment sides. The <br />body will be designed to accommodate the pump, manifolds and plumbing. <br />PUMP MOUNTING <br />The pump will be mounted at the rear of the truck in a manner designed to withstand the maximum <br />stresses exerted on the pump. The pump will be mounted so that the drive shafts and components <br />attain the proper angles and support and allow for component longevity. <br />PUMP CONTROL PANELS (LEFT SIDE REAR CONTROL) <br />All pump controls and gauges will be located at the left side of the apparatus and properly marked. <br />They will be contained in the rear side compartment. <br />The gauge and control panels will be designed for ease of maintenance <br />71 of 89 <br />
