Director's Report <br />November 2015 <br />2 November First day back from Vacation. Spent getting caught up with information and events. <br />3 November Office Closed for Election Day <br />4 November Out of line transfers within 2015 Budget with Elicia for year end. In line transfer <br />identified to transfer from Insurance to Legal Notices to cover extra meetings. Created and <br />submitted the Invoice to the City for the balance of $12,500.00. Received CLG Report results <br />from Steve Kennedy. Will include those findings in the Commissioners' packets. <br />5 November Collected data for the balance of CDBG $5,000.00. Field work. <br />6 November MACOG presentation on enhanced GIS programs. <br />7 November Local Historic District Bus Tour 9-11. <br />9 November Research on WPA projects for Charles Feirrell on stairway and stone sitting area at <br />1228 LWE river bank that may be WPA projects. E-mailed Glory June Greiff for opinion since it <br />wasn't mentioned in her inventories on file. Responded to inquiry from Jerry Kline concerning <br />letter about the Memorial outfall project. Contacted McCormick Engineering LLC for <br />clarification. This is not going to be a new well head, as Jerry feared, but a spring water outfall into <br />the river from Memorial Hospital geo thermal cooling system. All aspects of project approved by <br />IDEM. Provided information to WSBT Kelly Stopczynski on the Fat Daddies block national <br />register district. <br />10 November Field trip with Steve to document the possible WPA structures directly across 1228 <br />LMT. The stairs, sidewalls and entry piers and pillars certainly do look like WPA work. The <br />area was photographed and die photos sent to Glory June Greiff, an expert on WPA and New <br />Deal Projects. She affirmed that they were. Contacted property owner Charles Feirrell with the <br />news. General Office work and Accounts Payable submissions. Reconciled the In -Line transfers <br />with spread sheet. Received a call concerning Local Landmark 1026 E. Wayne Street. It certainly <br />looks like a party house with beer cans, etc strewn all over the porch and yard; there was a fire on <br />the front porch that destroyed a short section of the balustrade. Took photos. Contacted owner, <br />Granger resident Susan Papagiannis with this information and alerted her to the fire damage. <br />11 November Office Closed for Veterans Day <br />12 November Routine Office Work. Very slow day due to weather. Notified Code of the issues <br />at 1026 E. Wayne Street and documented e-mail with pictures taken on the 10". <br />
