PUBLIC HEARING <br />A. CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />1.612-614 Carroll COA#2012-0314 Taylor's Field <br />Representation by Francisco Gonzalez, Owner and Antonio <br />Windows were removed and openings were modified by owner without a building permit or <br />COA. Building Dept. issued Red Tag Stop Work Order pending HPC review. <br />Public hearing was held at the April 16, 2012 meeting: "On a motion by Jerry Niezgodski <br />with a second by Mike Voll to continue the application with the condition that applicant <br />work with Staff to obtain a suitable quote to get windows appropriate to the house and for <br />Staff to give an opinion on the opinion on the original window style". <br />On a motion by Mike Voll with a second by Dave Steinhauer to approve application with the <br />condition that applicant will perform necessary carpentry work utilizing HPC stock windows to <br />reconstruct windows as staff recommended, replicating the original look (that can still be realized <br />on the south side of the duplex building). <br />Vote: 6 — 0 Unanimous. <br />COA#2012-0314 Approved with conditions. <br />2.815 Ashland COA#2012-0420 Chapin Park <br />Representation by Abby with AJ Construction <br />STAFF REPORT <br />CONCERNING APPLICATION FOR A <br />CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS <br />Date: 4 May 2012 <br />Application Number: 2012-0420 <br />Property Location: 815 Ashland <br />Architectural Style/Date/Architect or Builder: T-Plan/1894 <br />Property Owner: Diana and Randy Hopkins <br />Landmark or District Designation: Chapin Park <br />Rating: Non -Contributing <br />DESCRIPTION OF STRUCTURE/ SITE: The house has two storeys with exterior walls that are clad in aluminum and <br />perma-stone.
