June 4 Reviewed/ Reconciled May Location Report for accuracy. Prepared <br />and mailed Commissioners' meeting packets and homeowners' copies for June 15 <br />meeting. Continued PR for "A Synagogue Speaks". AEP tree survey for Chapin Park <br />on site with Wayne Doolittle for trimming/removal of alley way trees and yard <br />trees. <br />June 8 Participated in the Center For History Finance Committee meeting. <br />Met with Larry Meteiver concerning the re -zoning of 508 W. Washington Street <br />property, Cushing Manor. Called Debra Barton Grant at Jewish Federation about <br />June 16 presentaiton. <br />June 9 Chaired the Rotary Foundation meeting at Indiana Trust concerning <br />the Golf Outing Fund Raiser for the Local Phoenix Scholarships, the Mentor <br />Program and the Band Shell Project at Potawatomi Park. Participated in the <br />BSSB/Zoo/Parks meeting at Howard Park General Store about repairs to the facility <br />and sustainability during the winter months. <br />June 10 Arranged for Sadie at the Archives for the Center for History to <br />research our files for County Schools. Met with Jack Plennert and Melanie of ADG <br />concerning proposed repair or replacement of doors at Jefferson School, a local <br />landmark, also discussed the possible restoration of the fan transom and doors on the <br />north entry of the front facade. Called David Piser to remind him of the Synagogue <br />presentation, he verified that the Michiana Jewish Historic Society included the <br />information in its newsletter. <br />June 11 Spoke with Robert Nevel about his June 16 presentation and called <br />Randy Ray to up -date him and to urge support for this presentation from his <br />membership. Reviewed request to landmark St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at 15697 <br />New Road as a County Landmark. <br />June 12 Contacted Sue Solmos, Econ and Community Development and Bill <br />Schalliol to confirm attendance at June 16 presentation. Contacted Joe Dits of the <br />South Bend Tribune for coverage. Prepared Collection report for first half of June <br />for fees and sales of HPC nuts. <br />
