The removal/demolition of the 1955 addition to the rear of the house. <br />a. Pictures attached. <br />2. On the rear of the house the construction of a new one story 12'8" by 30'8" <br />addition, it will almost span the width of the rear of the house. (Offset- slightly, <br />on each end). The new construction will be brick with casement windows and <br />pilasters at the corners. The roof of the new construction will be flat in <br />appearance. A portico roof will cover the rear entry. <br />a. East Elevation attached <br />b. South Elevation attached <br />c. Floor PIan attached <br />d. Separate plans for portico roof over rear entry attached <br />3. Construction M. <br />a. Brick/Mortar — nearest possible match to the original brick on the house. <br />b. Windows — Casement windows with dimensional divided lights: similar to <br />other historic homes in the neighbor hood — Marvin brand - documentation <br />attached <br />c. Portico Columns - Composite Material that will match the columns on the <br />covered porch on the west side of the house. See South Elevation and <br />Portico plans. <br />d.. Door — 6 - Divided Lights over a smooth panel — custom designed Marvin <br />Luminary collection door. <br />e. Lighting — Historically correct colonial revival lighting in the ceiling of - <br />the portico. <br />4. Replacement: if necessary the double hung window at the center of rear of the <br />house will be shortened and replaced (it is over the current rear entry — see <br />photo) <br />a. There is a possibility that the roof of the new construction will interfere <br />with this window. <br />b. The light provided by this window is vital to the interior of the home <br />c. If it is necessary to replace it... the new, shorter window will be the placed <br />in the same area, it will have the soldiered brick, etc... <br />Proposed Work II: (Architect: Bill Lamie) <br />
