t <br />Assistant Director's Report <br />HPC Meeting —12-17-2007 <br />■ 2+ weeks off for recovery time from surgery. Many thanks to Director <br />Hostetler for facilitating my working from home to extend my recovery <br />time. <br />■ Attended first Restore Michiana planning meeting for 2008. <br />■ Attended Redevelopment Commission meeting. <br />■ Completed paperwork for Cornelius O'Brien grant regarding Chicora <br />Foundation visit. <br />■ Contacted Code Enforcement regarding issues in Taylor's Field and with <br />local landmark located on N. William Street. <br />■ Prepared November meeting minutes. <br />■ Met with Auditor Mike Eby. <br />■ Continued research on City Cemetery Trust fund. <br />■ Met with People's Church and roofer Mike Smith to begin roof work. <br />■ Prepared and mailed art appraiser Leslie Hindman information about <br />cross piece at People's Church. <br />■ Met with Melanie Trowbridge of Parks Dept to continue planning for <br />Winter Carnival- City Celebration. Visited Howard Park Ice Rink. <br />■ Completed and submitted Cornelius O'Brien grant application for <br />Botanical Society of South Bend. <br />■ Created ND event flyer. <br />■ Prepared and submitted Winter newsletter. <br />■ Attended Common Council meeting 12/10. <br />■ Attended DAR luncheon 12/14 as invited guest. <br />■ Attended ND student's presentation on St. Paul's Memorial Methodist <br />Church. <br />
