(Boundaries might be the same as the ones <br />for the Kessler National Register District.) <br />From: HPC Local Districts Committee <br />At the HPC Commission hearing in August 2006, 1 suggested that the <br />commission might want to look into the possibility that we might start <br />inquiries to find if there was a viable neighborhood interest in such an <br />undertaking - that it might help the owners in their desire to continue to keep <br />their homes from commercial intrusions in the future, and from improper <br />changes to the buildings as they now exist. <br />However, since that time I have learned of a number of valid reasons <br />why this is not the time to begin such a task. There is no reason to think the <br />neighbors are interested to the degree necessary for Such work to begin, and <br />the HPC Staff is not in a position to devote the time and funds that would be <br />necessary to begin such a major project at this time. <br />. Therefore, I request that this idea be brought before the HPC at a <br />time at which it might be more likely to succeed. <br />
