Bill No. 109-05 <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING AN HISTORIC <br />LANDMARK UNDER ORDINANCE NO 154a-73 AMENDING ZONING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 6, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA (16977 ADAMS ROAD) <br />Whereas, the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County has <br />recommended and petitioned by Tim Janowiak and other residents for the designation of <br />the following described real estate as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance no. 154a-72 <br />as amended to wit: <br />Lot 1 of what is currently known as Stafford Court <br />A Part of the Southeast Quarter of Fractional Section 8, <br />Range 3 East Particularily being Milligan's Subdivision <br />As recorded under instrument number 9710139 in Office <br />Of Recorder of St. Joseph County; together with a part <br />Of the Southwestern Quarter of Fractional section 9, in said <br />Township and range, in clay township, St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana, being particularily described as follows: <br />See Attached Exhibit A & B <br />The improvements located upon said land can be commonly described as 16977 Adams <br />Road, the Grabowski Farm with Bam and outbuildings and Dutch Family Farmhouse, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "PROPERTY". <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County <br />has recommended the designation of the PROPERTY as an Historic Landmark. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY COUNCIL, INDIANA: <br />Section 1. That the above-described PROPERTY be, and it is here designated and <br />established as an Historic Landmark under Ordinance No. 154a-73 as amended. <br />Section 2.
