It is the opinion of HPC Staff that the relocation of this building to the new site on the <br />corner of W. Washington and Franklin will not detract from its current inclusion on the <br />National Register. The structure will not only meet the criteria for eligibility for the <br />National Register of Historic Places, but will be enhanced by its new surroundings. Staff <br />recommends that the commission send a favorable ruling to the County Commissioners <br />of St. Joseph County and to the State Historic Preservation Office. <br />RLS- Int.Director <br />3/22/01 <br />
