CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS STAFF REPORT <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The applicant proposes to enclose an existing rear porch for year—round use by <br />installing sliding glass doors between existing post supports and finishing <br />corners by sheathing and installation of clapboard siding to match the house. <br />The porch is located discreetly in th rear and is not generally visible form <br />the street though it may be glimpsed across the neighbors yard as East Wayne <br />Street -North curves to the south at this point. The installation will not <br />require alteration of existing -members which are to remain inside the new <br />corner walls. Staff finds this treatment to be consistent with the guidelines <br />for porch enclosure and recommends approval. <br />DBD <br />5/12/98 <br />
