• MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />of the <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />Regular Monthly Meeting County Commissioner's <br />7:30 p.m. Conference Room <br />Monday April 21, 1997 7th Floor County -City Building <br />I. Call to Order <br />John Oxian, President of the Commission, brought the meeting to order at 7:35 <br />p.m. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Commission members present were: Richard Bullene, Martha Choitz, Adrian Fine, <br />John Oxian, Janeanne Petrass,• J. Edward Talley, & Jerry Wiener. <br />Commission staff present were: David Duvall, Director, Melody VanZant, <br />Administrative Assistant and Aladean DeRose, Counsel. <br />Also attending the meeting were: Linda Fritschner, Timothy Lykowski, George <br />Snook and Linda Riley. <br />III. Public Hearing <br />A. Certificates of Appropriateness <br />1) None this month. <br />IV."Regular Business <br />• A. Approval of Minutes <br />1. March 17, 1997 <br />Mr. Talley made a motion to table the minutes for further correction. <br />Mr. Wiener seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />B. Treasurer's Report <br />None. <br />C. Correspondence <br />Mr. Duvall reported that the commission had received a copy of the City's <br />River Park Neighborhood Preservation Plan, noting that several sections <br />recommended and/or planned for the preservation, restoration, or <br />rehabilitation of historic resources in the River Park neighborhood. The <br />report was circulated at the meeting. <br />He reported having sent an extensive letter to Rev. Robert Herron'of the <br />Revelation Church of God, regarding their property located at 530 East <br />Pennsylvania Street. Mr. Duvall had met with Rev. Herron at this location for <br />a site assessment for preservation and provided observations and <br />recommendations. <br />Mr. Duvall also noted having received a circulated copy of correspondence from <br />the East Wayne Street LHD Liaison Committee to Mayor Luecke regarding the <br />state of the streetlighting system in the district. <br />D. Committee Reports <br />401. Budget & Finance <br />Mr. Weiner, the Treasurer, indicated there was no report. <br />2. Historic Districts <br />A. Project Access <br />Mrs. Choitz, co-chair, reported that two meetings will be held at Newman <br />
