The commission considered each part of the proposal separately. <br />Mr. Holycross recommended to approve proposal SP1 with one <br />modificat_ion_:to_choose_windows-wi-th-s-ingl-e--panes-or-1-ights <br />instead of 6 over 6, multi -panes. <br />Ms. Strycker agreed that this recommendation was acceptable. <br />Mr. Herendeen moved to approve the proposal as submitted with <br />the recommended modification. Mr. Welsheimer seconded the <br />motion. <br />No further discussion. Motion Approved unanimously. <br />Mr. Welsheimer asked Ms. Strycker how many complaints she had <br />received concerning the demolition of the greenhouse on their <br />property. Ms. Strycker replied that they had no complaints and <br />added that they were working with a landscaper to find a way to <br />enhance the property. <br />2. 1418 East Wayne Street --East Wayne Street LHD <br />Mr. Holycross distributed photographs and described the <br />project. The property owners, Anne and Patrick McGraw, were not <br />present. <br />The proposal submitted was to enclose the existing, rear <br />sunporch by installing new windows on the south and east side <br />and a central entry door on the east side with a half -round <br />window above. The proposal included: 1. installing two sets of <br />double casement windows, with false muntins to resemble 2 over 6 <br />lights, on the south side of the porch, the remainder of the <br />wall to be covered with synthetic clapboard to match the main <br />block; and 2. install central entry doors (French doors) with an <br />elliptical transom window above, the entry to be flanked with <br />two sets of windows matching the south side and the same siding. <br />2 <br />
