Wayne Street--LHD <br />Mr. Pastor reported on the staff's ongoing <br />efforts to find a replacement gate for the <br />inappropriate one the owner had installed some <br />---- months ----ear- 1 i.er-.---He---sa-i-d--r_esear-ch_so__f_ar__had <br />not been very fruitful. Mr. Holycross said the <br />only appropriately -priced gates on the market <br />were the same as, or worse than, the existing <br />gate. An attractive wrought -iron gate had been <br />found, but it cost $1200. in short, he said, <br />replacing the gate in a manner consistent with <br />the C of A was not possible. <br />Mrs. Dennen said the fence was unsightly. Mr. <br />Holycross agreed, but reminded her that the HPC <br />had .already granted a C of A for it, pending <br />approval of the gate. <br />Mrs. Sporleder advised all Commission members <br />to go out and look for appropriate gates. <br />2.
