As <br />per our current CLG grant, --we wi_1_i—hav-e—.a_confeence—on—the—top-ic <br />of Growth Management to be held (tentatively) on May 1, 1991, at <br />Union Station. We are completing work on the National Register <br />Extension to the West Washington District and have done <br />preliminary work on the Local District Brochure. <br />Informational handouts regarding Certificate of Appropriateness <br />procedures, district and landmark status, and other useful <br />information will be revised as time permits. The potential South <br />St. Joseph Street district proposed in January by Mr. Oxian will <br />continue to be researched and a proposal developed by Mr. Oxian, <br />the Districts committee and the staff. Maintenance standards and <br />guidelines for distinguishing significant landscape features will <br />be developed by Mr. Pastor and Mrs. Dixon as time and funding <br />allow. Obviously, we must place priority on the grant -funded <br />projects so as to complete them by the designated deadline. <br />
