Kiemnec at the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph <br />County, 284-9798. <br />For immedia a release <br />COUNTY SUMM RY REPORT <br />The Histori' Preservation Commission has just published the St. Joseph County Summary Report. <br />The 250 pag� book is an inventory of the historic sites and structures identified by the <br />Commission in the rural areas and small towns of the county and the Notre Dame and St. Mary's <br />Campuses. It includes lists and photographs of historic buildings, histories of the towns, <br />campuses, aid the county, a description of architectural styles in the area as well as an <br />explanation of local and national preservation programs. The information contained in the <br />ok will b helpful to historic building owners wishing to learn more about -their building's <br />tory and style as well as programs available to assist them; governmental agencies wanting <br />o determin the impact of a development project on a historic house or neighborhood; or <br />local histo -y buffs wanting to learn more about the area. The book is available at the <br />Historic Pr!servation Commission office on the eleventh floor of the County/City Building. <br />
