C0111,IITTEE REPORT
Committee: Personnel
Date: June 12, 1978
Place: Area Plan. Conference Room
Present: Ted Wasielewski, F. Jay Nimtz, Ruth Price,
John Oxian, Candy Peck, Jeff Gibney
Comments:
IIs. Peck distributed a list of projects that she was involved in to date, or
cared to be involved in, in the future. Some members thought a few of the projects
should be referred to either Southhold Restorations, Inc. or Southold Foundation,
Inc.
The committee recommended that Ms. Peck continue with the slide presentation
she and Jeff Gibney were putting together and presenting, also she should
continue assisting with the Education Grant "Architecture - American Style"
with more help coming from. the'Public Relations and Community Education
committee.
The committee requested Ms. Peck to figure out a time and work schedule for her
proposed project on an "Economic Feasibility Study of Rehab and Adaptive Reuse
Projects Already Undertaken in South Bend."
• By suggestion of Ted Wasielewski, the committee will investigate the possibility
of placing the Preservation Planner's salary on the County Payroll vsl the present
contractual basis, with the stipulation that the Historic Preservation Commission
will have the final word in hiring all future planners.
The committee recommended the allocation of $250.00/month, for the next two months,
July and August, out of line item 242, for Jeann Denham's Technical Assistance.
1p
