OLD BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />the landscaping and, although some of the <br />plants are small, they are what was approved. <br />There are a number of bushes that have been <br />cut back for the winter which also make the <br />site look bare. Also, the sidewalk has been <br />completed and the grading of the lot has been <br />done and trees were to be planted along Main <br />and Garst Street. The staff recommends <br />approving the Certificate of Completion. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by <br />Mr. Piasecki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Certificate of <br />Completion for Disposition Parcel 9B in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. (McClurg <br />Leasing) <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Receipt of Bids for Disposition of Property in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(611 S. Clinton) <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that as of 10:00 a.m. this <br />morning there were no bids received for this <br />parcel. The parcel was previously put up for <br />bid as a lease- purchase offering and the <br />Commission accepted an offer from Watseka <br />Theater Corporation. However, we would <br />now like to sell the property to Watseka <br />outright. Since there were no other bids, we <br />will proceed with the sale. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to consider item <br />6.i. at this time.
