White, Jake Teshka <br /> Lori Hamann <br /> Other Council Absent: None <br /> Others Present: Dawn Jones, Bob Palmer, Lisa Horton <br /> Committee Chair Troy Warner stated, The goal and purpose of the Health and Public Safety <br /> Committee is to oversee the various activities performed by the Fire and Police Departments,EMS, <br /> Code Enforcement, Ordinance Violations Bureau and aspects related to Health and Public Safety <br /> matters. I have handed out the report that was submitted by the Chair of this Committee from last <br /> year. They had a lot of things going on last year, and hopefully, we can keep up that progress. <br /> There are some recommendations on page five(5) of the report for 2020, including involving the <br /> IT Department into the Committee and trying to come up with some technology that might make <br /> the Committee more efficient. Potentially restructuring Committees to involve the sub- <br /> committees. Also, the branding of Wellness in the title of the Committee. <br /> Committee Chair Troy Warner spoke about trying to find ways to have more collaboration with <br /> the Board of Public Safety. He stated that he had a recent meeting with the Department Head of <br /> the Animal Care and Resource Center in regard to the rewriting of the Animal Care Ordinance.
