Friday May 27th. 1904. The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. All members present. In regard t he Grade, Curb & Walk on Howard street from Lee per .-.'enue to Notre Dame stree under improvement resolution No. 179, Be it resolvea that said resolution be amended to read from Leeper avenue to Lawrence street and that said resolu--ion be confirmed as amended and be it further resolved that notice of the proposals for bids for the execution of this work shall be published on the 28 day of May and the 4th day of June in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune, and be it further resolved that thi s board will receive bids up to 10 a. m. on the 10 day of June 1904. Bids were opened for the Notre Dame street, N. Michigan street, Leland avenue improvements and were referred to the engineer for tabulation. Petition filed for Grade, Curb & Walk on Division street from Olive street West to City Limits. Referred to engin-.er for specifications. The Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe Sewer on Calvert stree t and Catalpa avenue under improvement Resolution No. 153. Resolved, that notices of the amounts of the assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune commencing on the 30th day of May 1904 stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 7th day of June, 1904 at 7:15 P. M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon a lowed . Notice of this' Resolution shall be publishe-+n the 28th day of May 1904 in the South Bend Daily Times and the South Bend Daily Tribune stating that the Board will give a hearing upon acceptance ° of such work at its office in the City Hall on the 7th day of June 1904 at 7:15 P.1L Pffe s i dent .
