REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 2008 reflect a pay increase consistent with the increase that was given to the Teamster’s and allow that for appointed officers and non-bargaining employees of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the calendar year 2008. This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bill, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to this bill, Councilmember Varner made a motion for favorable nd recommendation to full Council concerning this 2 Substitute bill. Councilmember LaFountain seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. RISE AND REPORT Councilmember Puzzello made a motion to rise and report to the full Council. BILLS – THIRD READING ORDINANCE NO. 9826-08 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 701 S. GRANT STREET, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT 6 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA This bill had third reading. Councilmember Dieter made a motion to pass this bill. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried. The bill passed by a roll call vote of nine (9) ayes. ORDINANCE NO. 9827-08 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2122 SOUTH BEND AVENUE, COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT FOUR IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA This bill had third reading.
