. . .......... <br />MISUSE OF ALCOHOL and <br />RS1 NACI',S <br />The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requires the following employers to comply with <br />federal regulations related to alcohol misuse and controlled substance use, and testing: <br />LCA(ma—I —Nim)(0—r—c—ar—rimr —Isa—feu �Adnd "i, Itration �FMCISAI <br />Employers whose employees are required to have a Commercial Driver License <br />(CDL) and who drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV), in accordance with <br />definitions established in 49 CFR Part 382. <br />L4(_warch lmuswm�cjall'ro �,ranks flLS_UkJ <br />Operators of pipeline facilities subject to 49 CFR Parts 192, 193, or 195. <br />Employees who meet the definitions of either of these transportation administrations are first <br />and foremost subject to BCRC's and their employer's Drug and Alcohol Policy for DOT - <br />covered employees. However, in circumstances that are not addressed in DOT regulations, <br />DOT -covered employees are also subject to BCRC's policy for all employees, including <br />drug and alcohol testing, under BCRC's and their employer's independent authority, <br />including those circumstances that are not addressed or covered by DOT rules and <br />regulations. <br />W <br />
