REGULAR MEETING June 24, 2019 <br /> Mr. Parker replied, I will pass on that request to Aaron Perri who is leading the City's side in those <br /> discussions. <br /> Mr. Parker continued,Bill No. 18-19 is also a request for additional appropriations,but it is for our <br /> enterprise funds as opposed to our governmental funds. These are more of the business-type <br /> activities. This is a relatively short list of appropriations. There is a $960,000 request for <br /> renovations and repairs at Fire Stations Three (3) and Six (6) as well as $177,000 which is simply <br /> a transfer of the operating income for the Century Center in 2018 from their operating fund into <br /> their capital fund. There is also a$63,000 request from the Century Center to cover the cost of the <br /> study that looks at options to expand the Century Center. I would be happy to answer any questions <br /> you may have. <br /> Councilmember John Voorde opened the floor to Council Members for questions regarding Bill <br /> No. 18-19. There were none. <br /> This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bills, proponents and <br /> opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. There were none. <br /> Councilmember Gavin Ferlic made a motion to send Bill No. 16-19 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation. Councilmember Karen White seconded this motion which carried by <br /> a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> Councilmember Gavin Ferlic then made a motion to send Bill No. 17-19 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation. Councilmember Dr. Oliver Davis seconded this motion which carried <br /> by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br /> Councilmember Tim Scott then made a motion to send Bill No. 18-19 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation.
