Remonstrance from Mrs. Lary Robison received against the paving of California Avenue. Same read and placed on file. , Building Commissioner filed written report on inspect ion of Bucher Livery Barn., located at 316-318 W. Jefferson Blvd. South Bend, Indiana. The Board read same and placed it on ldle, C ommun icat idn received From E . H . Potter Agt . N. Y. C . Ry. Co. in regard to notice for repairs of crasings at Kimball Avenue and Prairie Avenues. Same referred to the Street Commiss loner f :r invest igat ion. The following final orders were approved by the Board. Concerning the improvement of the roadway of South Bend Avenue from Eddy Street to East IFIty Limits with asphalt, asphaltic concrete, bitulithic, ,concrete or brick, pursuant to resolution -No. 622 the Boadd rinds that no petition has been filed with said Board by a majority in number of the freeholders residing on said street to be improved requesting that it be improved with a different kind of pavement that the kind heretofore adopted by the Board in its preliminary order; and the City Engineer re- ported that the White Construction Company is the lowest and best ,bidder for ,tncl Sind of pavement heretofore adopted by. the Board, and the Board _find that the White Construction Company is the lowest and best bidder and hereby lets the contract for said improvement to him, and orders that said improvement be made with asphaltic concrete Trinidad Satural Lake Asphalt and all proceedings heretofore had in.ahie matter are hereby confirmed and ratified,, G.
