REGULAR MEETING JULY 9, 2012 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />entered into an Agreement with Trinal, Inc. to provide services as the Diversity <br />Compliance Officer which is being sent to the Council for approval. <br /> <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Valerie Schey asked if the firm that the City entered into an agreement is <br />going to train someone to fill the Diversity Compliance Officer position. <br /> <br />Councilmember White advised that the City entered into a contract with Trinal, Inc. to <br />provide professional services to the City of South Bend, Indiana in response to its request <br />for proposals for Diversity Compliance Officer Contractual Services for the Diversity <br />Utilization Board (DUB) and the Common Council based upon the criteria outlined in the <br />RFP for such services. She stated that this was the determination of the MBE/WBE <br />Diversity Board’s recommendations. <br /> <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in <br />opposition to this Resolution, Councilmember Henry Davis made a motion to adopt this <br />Resolution.
