South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —July 26, 2012 <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Inks noted that Commissioners were provided with <br />a list of the vendors paid so far in 2012 and for what <br />projects the payments were made. Staff provides the <br />summary to the Commission semi - anually. <br />Mr. Varner asked that the list be included in the <br />Commission's annual report. <br />Ms. Jones asked about the meeting Commissioners <br />requested to hear the comments from affected property <br />owners on Fellows Street. Mr. Schalliol noted that staff <br />is still looking at alternative options as Mr. Varner asked <br />them to at the July 12 meeting. Then such a meeting will <br />be set. There is one home owner who is adamantly <br />opposed. Staff is working on a way to configure his <br />driveway to be feasible. <br />Mr. Varner asked if the acquisitions will take a long <br />time. Mr. Schalliol responded that it depends on <br />whether there are still unwilling sellers and whether they <br />take the city to court to prevent them. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next meeting of the Redevelopment Commission is <br />scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />Redevelopment Commission, Mr. Varner made a <br />motion that the meeting be adjourned.
