I <br />0 <br />C <br />V. Project Proposals <br />A. Land Acquisition <br />The Land Acquisition Plan Map (attached)and Tab- <br />ulation Sheets(pages 15 through 20) indicate real <br />property to be acquired for redevelopment. The <br />Tabulation Sheets also set forth parcel ownership <br />and square footage for such land. <br />Upon the acquisition of such properties, the City <br />of South Bend Department of Redevelopment will <br />either: <br />1. Demolish the structure or structures thereon <br />and dispose of the land for redevelopment at <br />its fair market value, excepting those cases <br />when land is sold or !eased to another public <br />body pursuant to Indiana Code 18- 7 -7 -20, for <br />uses in accordance with the Development Plan; <br />or <br />2. Sell or lease the property to purchaser or <br />lessee at its fair market value, excepting <br />those cases when property is sold or leased <br />to another public body pursuant to Indiana <br />Code 18- 7 -7 -20, for uses in accordance with <br />the Development Plan subject to its being <br />rehabilitated in conformance with the East <br />Bank Design Guidelines. <br />B. Property Rehabilitation <br />All properties in the East Bank Development Area <br />shall comply with the standards set forth in all <br />applicable statutes, codes and ordinances, as <br />amended from time to time, relating to the use, <br />maintenance, facilities, and occupancy of existing <br />property, including but not limited to, the <br />Building, Plumbing, Heating, Electrical and Housing <br />Codes. <br />' All properties within the <br />be maintained so that the <br />premises and all buildings <br />' a level of maintenance in <br />of the area. <br />Development Area shall <br />appearance of the <br />thereon shall reflect <br />keeping with the standards <br />-13- 10/3/80 <br />
