1 <br />u <br />I'll <br />The Design Guidelines may be reviewed and <br />revised as necessary by Redevelopment Commission <br />action. <br />F. Building Permits: No permit shall be issued by <br />tie South Bend Building Department for the <br />construction of any building in the project <br />area or the reconstruction alteration, or <br />rehabilitation of any building in the area <br />unless the application for such permit shall <br />bear an endorsement by the Committee that such <br />proposed construction is appropriate and <br />conforms to the standards set forth in the <br />East Bank Design Guidelines. <br />G. Review: All development plans filed hereunder <br />sEa11 be accompanied by preliminary and final <br />architectural plans and /or engineering <br />drawings and specifications for the work <br />involved. Such plans shall be reviewed for <br />compliance with the standards and objectives <br />of the Development Plan and Design Guidelines. <br />Within thirty days from and after the date <br />on which a development plan is filed with <br />the Committee, Saturdays, Sundays and legal <br />holidays excluded, the Design Review Committee <br />shall submit its recommendations in writing <br />to the Redevelopment Commission, stating in <br />the case of a disapproval, the reasons therefor, <br />and a copy of such recommendation shall be <br />given to the applicant(s), the Building <br />Department and the Executive Director of the <br />St. Joseph County Area Plan Commission. In <br />addition, the Committee shall indicate what <br />modifications in plans or specifications are <br />necessary to accomplish r:::,pliance. <br />H. Amendments to Disapproved Plan: Within not <br />more than t rty days after a disapproval, <br />the applicants filing a development plan which <br />has been disapproved, may file with the Com- <br />mittee an amendment to such plan or an amended <br />plan which shall be limited exclusively to <br />changes made necessary to accomplish compliance <br />with the grounds for disapproval stated by <br />the Committee. An amendment or amended plan <br />shall be approved or disapproved within not <br />more than thirty days after filing thereof. <br />-11- <br />10/3/80 <br />
