2. Surface Parking lots of over ten spaces <br />shall be screened from view as per adopted <br />Design Guidelines. <br />3. Whenever possible, required parking shall <br />be on site. However, off site parking <br />will be allowed up to a distance of 500 <br />feet from the main entrance of such use. <br />4. The construction of parking structures is <br />recommended. <br />5. Multiple standards are recommended for <br />parking stalls to accomodate compact as <br />well as full -size automobiles. <br />tD. Transportation <br />1 <br />C <br />c. Hydraulic Avenue between LaSalle <br />Avenue and Madison Street; <br />d. Ginz Avenue between Colfax Avenue <br />and Washington Street right -of -way <br />extended. <br />3. Colfax Bridge and street between <br />St. Joseph Street and Hill Street shall <br />be improved per State vighway Department <br />plans. <br />4. Transpo bus routes are encouraged to remain. <br />It is recommended that bus shelters be <br />placed in strategic locations. <br />-8- 10/3/80 <br />1. The arterial streets of Jefferson Blvd., <br />' <br />Colfax Avenue, LaSalle Street and Hill <br />Street will remain. <br />' <br />2. Portions of existing streets will be <br />closed to through traffic to encourage <br />a residential environment and allow for <br />additional parking. (Map II) <br />The portions to be closed are: <br />a. Niles Avenue between Jefferson Blvd., <br />and Washington Street; <br />b. Niles Avenue between Madison Street <br />and Cedar Street with the rerouting <br />of Niles to Cedar Street; <br />1 <br />C <br />c. Hydraulic Avenue between LaSalle <br />Avenue and Madison Street; <br />d. Ginz Avenue between Colfax Avenue <br />and Washington Street right -of -way <br />extended. <br />3.
