Climate change is important to me for many reasons. One, it will change the freshwater and saltwater resources that form the basis of our ecosystem and our community. Because of the increase in the amount of CO2 that the ocean is absorbing,this will begin to kill the organisms that live in the ocean, and affect the marine wildlife that many people depend on for food(I also really like turtles and do not want to see them dead). Second,the coastlines will begin to shift, most likely causing houses to disappear under the sea as many icebergs melt. And third,humans depend on freshwater to drink, so we need to create a better system of managing our future water sources before it is all gone. -McKenna
